Hot Stone Massage
This is an ancient massage technique utilising the benefits of hot, smooth, volcanic basalt rock with deep penetrating heat.
Individual stones are placed on or under various parts of the body, enabling the heat to transfer into the body's soft tissue, inducing a feeling of deep relaxation. Hot and oiled "working stones" slowly glide over the body.
When appropriate, cold marble stones are used in short intervals to flush out toxins.
Lymphatic Drainage Treatment
This is a very specific technique of manual body work that is characterised by it's gentle, slow, rhythmic strokes. The lightness of pressure is necessary in order to access the lymphatic vessels and remove excess fluid from the tissues. It feels is very relaxing.
